What information we collect about you

We collect information about you when you try, buy and/or use one of our Apps in the Atlassian Marketplace; when you visit our website, download content, or subscribe to our communications; when you interact with us through e-mail, telephone or web forms to request our services; or when you interact with our customer support.

For the general operations of our business, we may collect the following information about you, as provided by you, to support your requests of interests and provide and execute our Services:

  • Name
  • E-mail
  • Name of employer
  • Telephone
  • Job Title

To better market our Services, we also collect the following data:

  • Professional interests
  • Preferences related to how you prefer to consume information
  • Additionally, we track your navigation history with cookies to optimize your browsing experience (see our cookies policy here)

To support your evaluation and purchase of Atlassian Marketplace Apps:

As Atlassian Marketplace vendors and as a consequence of your consent with Atlassian's Privacy Policy, Atlassian transmits to Us the following information about Billing Contacts and Technical Contacts:

  • Name
  • Corporate E-mail
  • Name of employer

We don't collect your personal data as a result of your use of our apps, nor do we have any responsibility about the communication to other users of information posted by you on Jira or any of our apps.

All the information we collect about you is aggregated and with statistical purposes. In particular, we are NOT tracking:

  • Any kind of personal information or JIRA instance info that could identify uniquely your instance
  • Any field value.
  • We just take the aggregate information of the field types created
  • Any user name or real name of the people that use Profields
  • Any filter saved
  • Any geographical information

In the case of clients using cloud hosting of Atlassian products, we do not store or use in any way the key to user data that Atlassian makes available through its API.

Information we receive from other sources

We may receive information about you from other Service users, when they submit content through the Services; from Data Processors; or from our business partners, including Atlassian companies, in accordance with their terms and policies:

Where we provide the Services under contract with an organization (for example your employer) that organization controls the information processed.

Lawfulness of Processing

The lawfulness of processing will be in execution of a potential and/or signed contractual relationship, legitimate interest, and the authorization given by the data subject. The data requested is appropriate, pertinent and strictly necessary, and, in no circumstance, is the data subject obliged to provide such data, but, lack of such communication may affect the objective of the service or imply the inability of its execution.

How we use information we collect

We use information about you:

  • to provide our Services to you, including to process transactions with you, authenticate you when you log in, provide customer support, and operate and maintain the Services.
  • for research and development that help us improve our Services;
  • to communicate with you about the services and help you become more proficient in their use;
  • to market our services and drive your engagement with them;
  • for customer support, in order to respond to your requests for assistance, and to repair and improve the Services;
  • for safety and security, and to monitor suspicious or fraudulent activity;
  • In connection with legal claims, compliance, regulatory, and audit functions;
  • With your consent, for specific purposes not listed above

How we share information we collect

For collaboration
You can create content, which may contain information about you, and grant permission to others to see, share, edit and copy that content based on settings you or your administrator (if applicable) select.  Some of the collaboration features of the Services display some or all of your profile information to other Service users when you share or interact with specific content.  For example, when you give or receive permission to view and edit project fields in Profields.

Sharing with third parties for technical reasons and to provide integrated services
 We are not in the marketing sharing information business and we don’t share your information with third parties for that purpose. However, we may share information about you with Atlassian and other marketplace vendors to provide integrated services and assist you with technical issues under your request.

Data Processors
We work with Data Processors to provide website and application development, hosting, maintenance, backup, storage, virtual infrastructure, analysis and other services for us. Some of those services collect anonymous information about the use of the DEISER apps in aggregated form and for statistical purposes.
Data Processors related to DEISER are detailed in the Addenda to this document.
 

How we store and secure information we collect

We use data hosting service providers in Spain and Germany to host the information we collect. We use state of the art technologies provided by the Data Processors listed at the end of this document, and use additional technical measures to secure your data..

How long we keep information
How long we keep information we collect about you depends on the type of information, as described in further detail below.  After such time, we will either delete or anonymize your information or, if this is not possible (for example, because the information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your information and isolate it from any further use until deletion is possible.

User records:  We retain your personal information for as long as your relation with DEISER is active and for as long as it is required to satisfy the needs for which it was first collected.  Those requirements extend to the compliance with our legal obligations, dispute of resolutions, enforcement of our agreements, and the support of business operations.

Marketing Information:  If you have chosen to receive marketing emails from us, we retain information about your marketing preferences, and  nformation derived from cookies and other tracking technologies for a year from the date you last expressed interest in our Services, such as when you last opened an email from us.

How to access and control your information

To exercise the rights and choices listed below and request assistance, you may contact us as provided in the Who is the Data Controller Section.

The data protection rights applicable to the interested parties are as follows:

  • The right to request to access personal data;
  • The right of rectification or erasure;
  • The right to object;
  • The right to restriction of processing;
  • The right of data portability.

Your Choices:

Access and Update your Information

You may at any time request a copy of your information or provide updated information that will be included in your record by contacting us as provided below. As an app user, your profile information belongs to your Atlassian account, and you will therefore need to interact directly with Atlassian's products and channels to have your information updated.

Object to our use of your information (including for marketing purposes)

  • Opt out of communications: You may opt out of promotional communications through the unsubscribe link within each email, or by contacting us. We will have you removed from our promotional email list or registration database.

Note: Even after you opt out from our promotional messages, you may continue to receive transactional messages from us regarding our Services.

  • Opt out of the use of aggregated data: In the apps administrator, you may additionally choose to opt-out from the use of your data in aggregated and anonymized form by Data Processors, i.e Google Analytics or Intercom

Request the deletion or restriction of your information:

  • Request that we stop using your information: You may ask us to stop accessing, storing, using and otherwise processing your information where you believe we don't have the appropriate rights to do so. Where you gave us consent to use your information for a limited purpose, you can contact us to withdraw that consent, but this will not affect any processing that has already taken place at the time. If you object to information about you being shared with a third-party app, please disable the app or contact your administrator to do so.
  • Request the deletion of your information: You may also ask us to delete all information stored about you. Our ability to fully satisfy this request will depend on the active services that we are providing to an organization to which you are or have been linked, like your current or former employer.

Data portability

Should you request it, we will provide you with an electronic file of your personal information, the information you create on the spaces under your sole control, and any CRM records associated to your data.

Claims

As a user, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any given time. The withdrawal of consent will not affect the lawfulness of the use carried out before this withdrawal. You also have the right to submit a claim to the supervisory authority if you believe that your rights may have been violated in relation to the protection of your data (agpd.es).

Digital Ocean is a signatary of the EU-US Privacy Seal, as stated in its Privacy Policy.

Hubspot is a signatary of the EU-US Privacy Seal, as stated in its Privacy Policy, and has entered into a Data Processing Agreement with DEISER in compliance with the  EU Data Protection Directive 95/46/EC (GDPR).

Intercom
Intercom is a signatary of the EU-US Privacy Seal, as stated in its Privacy Policy, and has entered into a Data Processing Agreement with DEISER in compliance with the  EU Data Protection Directive 95/46/EC (GDPR).

Mailchimp
Mailchimp is a signatary of the EU-US Privacy Seal, as stated in its Privacy Policy.
